My parents are divorced, I myself am divorced with children and my current husband has a child from a previous marrriage. My husband does a great job trying to keep the divorce from effecting his child, my ex husband on the other hand has dropped out of our kids lives. My father practically dropped out of my life with very infrequent visits throughout the years. While my father did make up for all of this later and we have a great relationship, not all fathers are so lucky.  I wrote an article titled What All Divorcing Fathers Should Remember, take the time to read it and see how you can keep from driving a wedge between you and your children during and after a divorce. Remember you are the parent and the adult so it is up to you not your child to keep it together.
